Massachusetts State Police responded to a motorcycle crash on Route 195 on Tuesday.

According to Trooper James DeAngelis, Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash just before 5:15 a.m. on I-195 Eastbound at mile marker 19.4 in Dartmouth.

The motorcycle was operated by a 59-year-old man from Oak Bluffs who was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.

A witness told Fall River Reporter that a Harley Davidson struck a “lunch box” in the road causing the cyclist to spin out into the median and break his leg. He also stated the bike had major damage.

DeAngelis stated that the scene cleared shortly after 6:20 a.m.
