Massachusetts State Police: Man missing in Silver Alert found dead
A missing man believed to have been seen in Massachusetts, has been found dead.
According to Dave Procopio of the Massachusetts State Police, Gerard Lemay was located deceased outdoors, in the vicinity of his motor vehicle, earlier this morning. He was located shortly after his motor vehicle was found parked in the lot of the Covanta incineration plant in Haverhill.
Preliminary investigation by Massachusetts State Police and Haverhill Police has revealed no evidence of foul play. Troopers from the State Police Detective Unit attached to the Essex District Attorney’s Office will complete the investigation.
The death is currently not considered suspicious.
The New Hampshire Information & Analysis Center had issued a Silver Alert for Lemay, 89, last seen Tuesday morning at his home in Weare, N.H. Lemay was possibly seen in Methuen after his disappearance.
