Massachusetts State Police investigating officer involved shooting that leaves one dead
At approximately 12:30 a.m. Massachusetts State Police were notified of an officer-involved shooting involving Everett Police that occurred on Washington Avenue in Revere, near the intersection with Sargent Street.
The suspect, a 32-year-old Lynn man, is deceased. Preliminary investigation indicates that the incident occurred following a pursuit by Everett Police into Revere.

Troopers from the State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County, along with Troopers from the State Police Crime Scene Services Section and State Police Ballistics Unit, responded to conduct an investigation into the facts and circumstances of the incident. That investigation is ongoing.
As with all police-involved shootings in the county, the District Attorney will investigate the use of force. The District Attorney also oversees all death investigations in the county.
