Massachusetts State Police investigating after 14-year-old killed in dirt bike crash in Wareham
BROCKTON – Massachusetts State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fatal dirt bike crash in Wareham, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has announced.
Saturday, at just after 12:30 p.m., Wareham Police received a 911 call for a report of a single dirt bike crash at a motocross track located at 131 Atwood Farm Way.
Wareham Police, Fire, and emergency personnel responded and found a 14-year-old male victim with serious injuries. He was transported to Tobey Hospital in Wareham, where he was pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Boys are riding wheelies on dirt bikes in packs here in New Bedford on Acushnet Ave. I’m expecting to see serious injury or death any day now, as traffic laws are rarely enforced in this town…
