Massachusetts State Police, Fall River personnel respond to vehicle versus pedestrian highway collision

Massachusetts State Police and Fall River personnel responded to a serious highway pedestrian crash on Tuesday.

According to Trooper James DeAngelis, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Troopers from the Dartmouth Barracks responded to Route 195 Eastbound in the area of Exit 13 in Fall River for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries.

Troopers assigned to Crash Reconstruction, Crime Scene Services, and Detectives with the Bristol DA’s Office also responded to the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
