Fall River Dire Department Special Services has announced its fourth annual fundraiser.

The 4th annual hot dog and beer night fundraiser will support the Fall River Fire Department Special Services.

The Fall River Special Services is an entirely volunteer organization. They also participate in many family free events year round.  According to the City of Fall River, Special Services consist of 1 Captain, 3 Lieutenants, 16 members, and 2 specialized vehicles, which provide Rehab for firefighters, lighting on emergency scenes and specific services to assist fire, police, and other municipal agencies that request our services. Special Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Last year the Special Service Members responded to 64 emergency and public service calls.

By donating and/or attending this event your contributions will be used to purchase water, Gatorade, coffee, snacks, and other supplies and equipment needed to provide rehab and lighting needs. There will be a 50/50 raffle and numerous raffle items. The price for admission is $10 for all you can eat hot dogs and beer. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday May 31st at the Liberal Club and will end when everyone leaves.

For tickets or more information please contact any Special Services member or Deputy Chief Richard Aguiar at Fall River Fire Department Headquarters at (508) 324-2733 ext:107
