Massachusetts State Police capture fleeing suspect after crash involving stolen car in Fall River
A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a suspect reportedly fled from police in a stolen car before crashing in Fall River.
According to Massachusetts State Trooper Brandon Doherty, a vehicle, determined to be stolen, was observed travelling at a high rate of speed on Route 24 South in Fall River at approximately 3:00 p.m.
A stationary Trooper on the lookout for the vehicle spotted it in the area of exit 5, where the vehicle exited the highway. The Trooper lost sight of the vehicle and began to canvass the area parking lots without locating the stolen car.
