Massachusetts State Police add murder suspect to “Most Wanted” list
The Massachusetts State Police have added KAEVON BRIMFIELD, 26, to the Department’s Most Wanted list. BRIMFIELD is wanted for the shooting homicide of 27-year-old Charles White earlier this month in Chicopee.
The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section is actively seeking BRIMFIELD, in furtherance of the investigation into the homicide being conducted by Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni, State Police detective’s assigned to the district attorney’s office, and Chicopee Police.
District Attorney Gulluni announced today that three other men suspected of involvement in Mr. White’s killing have been taken into custody. Only BRIMFIELD, who is considered armed and dangerous, remains at large.
Shortly after midnight on June 9, the Chicopee Police Department responded to a shooting in the vicinity of 249 Exchange St. Responding officers located Mr. White, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. A subsequent investigation by the State Police Detective Unit for Hampden County and the Chicopee Police Department resulted in arrest warrants being issued out of Chicopee District Court for BRIMFIELD and the three other suspects.
BRIMFIELD is black, approximately 5’6” tall and 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his chest, right forearm, and upper left arm. He has used the alias TRESHAWN BRUMFIELD in the past.
BRIMFIELD has ties to the Chicopee and Springfield area, as well as to Elizabeth, New Jersey, and Atlanta, Georgia.
