The Massachusetts State Police today added a man wanted for homicide to its list of Most Wanted fugitives.

According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section is seeking 21-year-old Evdyele Oneil Pabon Flores for the Dec. 7, 2022, homicide of 49-year-old Luis Ramos.

At approximately 8:20 that night, Holyoke Police responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Pine and Sargeant streets. Upon arrival officers observed two unoccupied vehicles that appeared to have been in a collision, as well as multiple spent shell casings.

Police canvased the area and found a man lying face down in the backyard of a nearby property with a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim, identified as Luis Ramos, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The ensuing investigation by the Hampden County State Police Detective Unit and Holyoke Police Detectives identified Evdyele Oneil Pabon Flores, who had been an occupant of one of the vehicles, as the suspected gunman. The investigation determined Pabon Flores fired more than 10 rounds at Ramos, who had been traveling in the second vehicle.

Homicide detectives sought and obtained an arrest warrant from Holyoke District Court charging Pabon Flores with murder, with nationwide extradition authorized. Pabon Flores remains at large and is believed to be actively attempting to evade capture.

Pabon Flores is 5’7” and approximately 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the words “As I walk through the Valley” on his left forearm and of the word “Oleanni” on his left ear. He has used the aliases Evdyelle Flores and Abdyle Pabon. The accompanying photo of him is from 2020.

Pabon Flores has ties throughout the greater Springfield area and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees Pabon Flores or has information about him should call 911 or the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873). You should not approach.
