Massachusetts State Police add child rape, child pornography, and shooting suspects to “Most Wanted” list

The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (MSP VFAS) today added three men to their Most Wanted list: Mariano Pereyra Jr., 62, wanted for child rape in Wellesley; Jude Demeis, 49, wanted for child pornography in Northampton, and Ingmar Robles Pojoy, 26, wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Lynn. MSP VFAS Troopers are actively searching for each of these suspects.

In late March 2013, Wellesley Police obtained two arrest warrants for Mariano Pereyra Jr. (then 55, now 62), charging him with rape of a child with force and five counts each of aggravated rape of a child, aggravated rape with serious bodily injury, and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. The charges stem from multiple sexual assaults on a child under age 14 allegedly committed by Pereyra over an extended period of time.

Pereyra is aware that he is being sought by law enforcement and is actively attempting to evade capture.

Pereyra is Hispanic, 5’8” tall, approximately 210 lbs., with black and gray hair and brown eyes. He has a visible lump on his chest.

Pereyra has a lengthy criminal history in Massachusetts, including firearm, breaking and entering, and stolen property convictions.

He has training as a massage therapist, and has ties throughout the city of Boston, as well as to Attleboro, Watertown, Wellesley, Pawtucket, R.I., and the Dominican Republic.

JUDE DEMEIS

On September 10, 2019, following several months of investigation, Northampton Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Jude Demeis, 49, with three counts of possession of child pornography as well as with posing or exhibiting a child in the nude.

Demeis is aware he is wanted by law enforcement and is actively attempting to evade capture.

He is White, 6’2” tall, approximately 180 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He is highly computer proficient, an avid mountain biker, and a rally car enthusiast.

Demeis has ties to Northampton and Needham, as well as to the greater Syracuse, N.Y., area and Gilboa, N.Y., and formerly had an address in New City, N.Y.

INGMAR ROBLES POJOY

On February 6, 2019, Lynn Police responded to a shooting on South Elm St. Responding officers located 29-year-old Vannark Chourb suffering from gunshot wounds; Chourb was determined to be deceased at the scene. An investigation by the State Police Detective Unit for Essex County and Lynn Police resulted in a warrant being issued for Ingmar Robles Pojoy, a/k/a “I.G.,” now 26, for charges of carrying a loaded firearm, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and committing a firearms violation while having committed a prior crime involving violence or drugs.

Pojoy, who is known to affiliate with street gangs, is actively attempting to evade capture.

Pojoy is Hispanic, 5’8” tall, approximately 120 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has a small mole on the left side of his face, above his lip. He has multiple tattoos across his body, including a devil’s head, written words, and beads and a cross on his arms and left hand; a skull, rose, and the name “Thelma” among other ink on his chest; a skull on the left side of his torso; and the name “Robles” on his upper back, just below the base of his neck.

The suspect has a lengthy criminal record, including past convictions for firearms, assault, and resisting arrest offenses.

Pojoy, who should be considered armed and dangerous, has extensive ties to Lynn and a previous address in Peabody.
