Massachusetts State Lottery has new $15,400,000 scratch ticket winner; here is what they plan to do with the cash

A huge State Lottery winner in Massachusetts plans on letting their money work for them.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, SFBLGLN1944 TRUST of Quincy has won a $1 million a year for life prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” $50 instant game.

The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, selected the cash option on its prize and received a one-time payment of $15,400,000 (before taxes). Spillane said that his client plans on investing the winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Orchard Variety, 152 Main St. in Indian Orchard. The store receives a $50,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

There is one $1,000,000 a Year for Life grand prize remaining in the “Lifetime Millions” instant game.
