Massachusetts sees slight decrease in positive COVID-19 cases with 500 less tests, 24 more dead

Massachusetts has seen 1,334 more positive cases in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 11,736 with 24 more dead in the last 24 hours for a total of 216.

Massachusetts had seen 1,436 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

There were 5,838 new tests conducted for a total of 68,800.

Massachusetts residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine by current status up to March 31, 2020
Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 8394
Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 3218
Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 5176

According to the CDC, as of April 4th, the total amount of cases in the country is 277,205 with 6,593 dead.
