Massachusetts sees increase in COVID-19 cases, continued drop in hospitalizations and deaths in Sunday report
Massachusetts saw a decrease in hospitalizations and deaths in Sunday’s COVID-19 report.
Massachusetts has seen 218 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 106,882 with 12 more reported dead for a total of 8,213.
Massachusetts had seen 177 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
13,624 tests were performed, almost 1,600 more than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,328,399. The amount of individuals tested is 1,033,883.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 59 of the last 70 days and dropped to 498.

According to the CDC, as of July 18th, the total amount of cases in the country is 3,630,587 with 138,782 dead.
