Massachusetts sees decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations Saturday as deaths near 8,300

Massachusetts saw a decrease in hospitalizations in Saturday’s COVID-19 report.

Massachusetts has seen 210 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 108,107 with 12 more reported dead for a total of 8,291.

Massachusetts had seen 214 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

11,330 tests were performed, almost 1,800 less than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,425,973. The amount of individuals tested is 1,103,722.

Hospitalizations have decreased in 62 of the last 76 days and saw a decrease today by 26 to see the total drop to 371.

According to the CDC, as of July 24th, the total amount of COVID-19 cases in the country is 4,024,492 with 143,868 dead.
