Massachusetts sees confirmed COVID-19 cases increase to 2,417, but amount of new cases decreases
Massachusetts has seen 579 more positive cases in the last 24 hours.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 2,417.
Massachusetts had seen 679 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
163 cases have been found to be transmitted through the community and 93 are related to traveling. 2,062 are under investigation.

Governor Baker stated that he plans to continue to ramp up testing.
Massachusetts residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine by current status as of March 24, 2020
Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 3,802
Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 1,655
Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 2,147
According to the CDC, as of March 25th, the total amount of cases in the country is 68,440 with 994 dead. Massachusetts has seen 25 fatalities.
Fall River, Dighton, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk, Berkley, New Bedford, Taunton, Lakeville, Easton, Raynham, Mansfield, Attleboro, Middleboro, and Freetown have all seen cases of COVID-19.
