Massachusetts sees another drop in COVID-19 hospitalizations, 7 more dead in Monday report

Massachusetts saw another decrease in hospitalizations in Monday’s COVID-19 report.

Massachusetts has seen 182 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 108,562 with 7 more reported dead for a total of 8,317.

Massachusetts had seen 273 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

10,291 tests were performed, over 500 more than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,454,584. The amount of individuals tested is 1,123,793.

Hospitalizations have decreased in 64 of the last 78 days and saw a decrease today by 14 to see the total drop to 350.

Massachusetts residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine by current status up to July 22nd
• Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 72,481
• Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 70,449
• Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 2,032

According to the CDC, as of July 27th, the total amount of COVID-19 cases in the country is 4,225,687 with 146,546 dead.
