Massachusetts mother of two-month-old daughter found dead; death ruled a homicide
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent Kelly Richardson have confirmed the identity of the victim of a homicide that occurred on Llewelyn Street in Lowell as Dejah Jenkins-Minus, 22 of Boston.
On November 26, 2021, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Lowell Police responded to a residence on Llewelyn Street to conduct a well-being check at the request of a person known to Dejah Jenkins-Minus. Officers found her body inside the residence with signs of apparent trauma. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced her dead.
Today after an autopsy the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide by multiple sharp force injuries.
This is not believed to be a random incident, according to the DA.
Jenkins-Minus recently gave birth to a daughter who is now 2-months old.
This is an active and ongoing investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to that office and Lowell Police.
