DORCHESTER, MA – Three Massachusetts residents have each won $100,000 Mass Cash grand prizes on free Quic Pic tickets they received as part of a recent Massachusetts State Lottery promotion. The prizes were won by Leonard Beach of Mattapan, Stephen Foley of Stoughton, and Luiz Santos of Framingham.

In this promotion, with the purchase of $4 or more of any draw or monitor game on a single ticket, customers had a chance to receive a free Quic Pic ticket ($1 value) for the next Mass Cash, The Numbers Game or Keno drawing. The promotion ran from April 11 to May 12.

Beach’s winning free Quic Pic ticket for the May 11 Mass Cash drawing was received through his The Numbers Game ticket purchased at Super Liquors, 1055 Truman Pkwy. in Hyde Park. He claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Dorchester headquarters on Wednesday, May 15. A regular player of The Numbers Game, Beach was playing a special set of numbers in memory of his late wife the day he won.

“It’s her grave number,” said Beach. “That’s the number I play every day. I play it faithfully.” He said he had visited her grave right before purchasing the ticket.

Foley and Santos both won their $100,000 prizes in the May 10 Mass Cash drawing and claimed their prizes on Tuesday, May 14. Foley claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Braintree office and Santos claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Worcester office. Foley received his promo ticket from a Keno ticket purchase at Seasons Corner Market, 140 Sharon St. in Stoughton. Santos received his promo ticket for his The Numbers Game purchase at Franklin Mini Mart, 52 East Central St in Franklin.

All three stores receive a $1,000 bonus for the $100,000 winning tickets that were awarded at their locations.
