Massachusetts man plans to use $1 million+ State Lottery prize to pay off his vehicle
When some people hit big money, they have big plans. This Massachusetts man, however, has his eye on fulfilling a simpler action compared to the amount of money he won.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Michael Dodge of Peabody has won a $2 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.
Dodge chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). He plans to use some of his winnings to make the remaining payments on his truck.
His winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 314 Boston Rd. in North Billerica. The store receives a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
