Massachusetts man plans on staying put after turning small win into $1 million State Lottery prize
A Massachusetts man plans on staying put after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Robert H. Pare of Ayer is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” $10 instant ticket game.
Pare chose the annuity option on his prize and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes). He purchased this ticket using the winnings from a previously played $10 instant ticket. Pare plans on doing some home renovations with his winnings.
He bought his winning ticket at Nouria, 460 King St. in Littleton. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
