Massachusetts man not planning to move after winning $4 million prize on State Lottery scratch ticket
A Massachusetts man has no plans to move after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Jose Diaz is the winner of a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X The Money” instant ticket game.
Diaz, who is from Turners Falls, chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). He plans to use his winnings to pay off the mortgage on his house.
He purchased his winning ticket at Zee Mart, 15 Locust St. in Northampton. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
