Massachusetts man killed in Sunday morning crash on I-95
The Rhode Island State Police announces that a 25-year-old Massachusetts man died in a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 South in the Town of Richmond.
The victim was identified as Aaron Lee, age 25, of Randolph, Massachusetts.
This morning at approximately 2:45 a.m. Troopers received a report of a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 South, south of Baker Pines Road, in the Town of Richmond.
An investigation of the crash revealed that the motor vehicle exited the highway to the right, struck the guardrail and then traveled back across all lanes of travel and collided with the center Jersey barrier.
The lone operator of the motor vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene by Richmond Fire Department.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
