Massachusetts man in intensive care after informing former girlfriend he was unfaithful
BOSTON, December 28, 2022 — A Massachusetts woman is being held in lieu of $5,000 bail after being charged Tuesday with hitting her former boyfriend with her car and then stabbing him, District Attorney Kevin Hayden announced.
27-year-old Lashonda Warner is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (car and knife) and leaving the scene of an accident after causing personal injury. Judge Erika Reis imposed $5,000 bail and ordered Warner to stay away and have no contact with the victim. Warner will return to court March 24 for a pre-trial hearing.
At about 9:30 p.m. on December 23 Boston police responded to a call for a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on Manchester Street in Mattapan. They found the 28-year-old victim bleeding from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was uncooperative with police. A witness told police that a silver Honda Accord made a three-point turn in the street, struck two vehicles and then struck the victim. Police followed a trail of blood and found a pink folding knife, covered in blood, on the street. Medical responders transported the victim to Boston Medical Center where, as of yesterday, he was in the ICU.
Police broadcast a description of the vehicle. Shortly after, State Police pulled a vehicle matching the description over on I-93N near exit 15B. Troopers observed blood on the front grille. The driver, Warner, later admitted to Boston police that she had struck and stabbed the victim because he had informed her that he was being unfaithful.
“The actions people take when they receive unwelcome news can make a bad situation much worse for everyone involved, as is the case here. This woman’s actions have had a dramatic impact on her life and the victim’s,” Hayden said.

$5000 bail???? for attempted murder?? Oh it’s not that it’s A&B ( rolls eyes ) Talk about female privilege. If this were a male who hit his girlfriend with a car then stabbed her bail would be set at $500K
