Massachusetts man has big plans, takes wife with him, after hitting it big on scratch ticket
A Massachusetts man has won life changing money and he brought his wife along for the ride.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, William Macaione has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Money Bags” instant ticket game.
Macaione, who is from Rockport, was joined by his wife Elaine Engemann when claiming his prize, opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on using his winnings to buy a new car and to pay off the mortgage on his house.
He purchased his winning ticket at Rockport Market, 21 Broadway in Rockport. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
