Attorney General Peter Neronha announced that a Massachusetts man has been charged in Providence County Superior Court with multiple offenses including possession of a ghost gun after his arrest by the Rhode Island State Police on August 25, 2022.
On April 20, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General charged 20-year-old Gentrit Millanaj of Medford Mass., by way of criminal information, with one count of possession of a ghost gun, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, one count of carrying a pistol without a license, one count of possession of a firearm while delivering a controlled substance, and one count of possession of 10g or less of cocaine.
As alleged in the criminal information, at approximately 2:00 a.m. on August 25, 2022, a trooper observed a vehicle speeding on Route 295 North in Cumberland and pulled the vehicle over.
