BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher D. Delmonte reports that the Bridgewater Police Department arrested an East Bridgewater man after he allegedly pulled a gun on another man during an argument over the victim not wearing a face mask inside a store.

At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Friday, July 3, Bridgewater Police responded to a call from the manager at Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 4 Central Square, for a report of two men arguing inside the store about one of the men not wearing a face mask.

The argument continued into the parking lot where one of the men, later identified as Todd Goulston, 59, of East Bridgewater, allegedly pulled out a gun from his vehicle and pointed it at the other man, who had not been wearing a face mask in the store. Goulston then got in his vehicle and left the scene.

The victim, a 30-year-old Abington man, was not injured in the incident.

Through the subsequent investigation, police identified Goulston and arrested him a short time later at his home with the assistance of the East Bridgewater Police Department.

After being placed into custody, Goulston complained of a medical issue and was transported to a local hospital. His license to carry a firearm and firearms from his home were seized by police.

Goulston was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, and Disturbing the Peace.
