Massachusetts drops below 500 COVID-19 hospitalizations Saturday, 17 more dead
Massachusetts saw a decrease in hospitalizations in Saturday’s COVID-19 report.
Massachusetts has seen 177 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 106,664 with 17 more reported dead for a total of 8,201.
Massachusetts had seen 216 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
12,064 tests were performed, over 800 less than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,309,804. The amount of individuals tested is 1,020,259.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 58 of the last 69 days and dropped to 499.

According to the CDC, as of July 17th, the total amount of cases in the country is 3,555,877 with 137,864 dead.
