Massachusetts DOT announces Route 195 overhead message board maintenance
SWANSEA/SEEKONK – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that it will be performing highway overhead message board maintenance on Route 195 eastbound and westbound in the Towns of Swansea and Seekonk. Work will be conducted on Wednesday, May 15, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and Thursday, May 16, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Work zone setups will consist of double left/right lane closures.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
