Massachusetts decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations continue, over 17,000 tests performed in Sunday report
Massachusetts saw another decrease in hospitalizations in Sunday’s COVID-19 report.
Massachusetts has seen 286 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period. The 7 day weighted average positive test rate has stayed at 1.8%.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 112,459 with 14 more reported dead for a total of 8,514.
Massachusetts had seen 320 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
17,152 tests were performed, almost 600 more than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,723,320. The amount of individuals tested is now 1,311,358.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 72 of the last 91 days, and saw a decrease of 11 today to see the total drop to 375.
