Massachusetts COVID-19 report issued as country passes 100,000 fatalities

Thursday, Massachusetts saw a more leveling off of COVID-19 numbers as statistics overall have been on a downward trend.

Massachusetts has seen 675 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 94,895 with 93 more reported dead for a total of 6,640.

Massachusetts had seen 527 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

10,179 tests were performed, over 3,500 more than the total released yesterday, to increase the overall total to 562,323.

Hospitalizations have decreased in 14 of the last 16 days. In today’s report, yesterday’s hospitalization number stayed the same.

According to the CDC, as of May 28th, the total amount of cases in the country is 1,698,523 with 100,446 dead.

Tuesday in the COVID-19 update news conference, Governor Charlie Baker stated that we are past the surge of coronavirus cases.

    All the window lickers that protested “tyranny” either got touched by Covid in one way or another, or they’re soap boxing the newest flavor of the month on their fakebooks. Because they sure haven’t been around this comment section in a bit.

    Have the “revolutionaries” finally sat down in the corner with their coloring books so the adults can talk? We can only hope.
