Massachusetts COVID-19 hospitalizations continue decline Sunday, but uptick in cases
Massachusetts saw another decrease in hospitalizations in Sunday’s COVID-19 report, but cases have increased.
Massachusetts has seen 273 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 108,380 with 19 more reported dead for a total of 8,310.
Massachusetts had seen 210 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
9,780 tests were performed, almost 1,600 less than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,440,717. The amount of individuals tested is 1,113,502.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 63 of the last 77 days and saw a decrease today by 7 to see the total drop to 364.

• Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 70,449
• Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 2,032
According to the CDC, as of July 26th, the total amount of COVID-19 cases in the country is 4,163,892 with 145,942 dead.
