A Massachusetts boy trying to raise money for an organization that helps his brother, has been shut down by the town.

According to the Boston Bear Cubs, an organization that provides boys and girls with physical & developmental disabilities (Autism Spectrum, Downs Syndrome and similar disabilities) a chance to play hockey, 12-year-old Danny Doherty and his mom started making ice cream to sell to support the Bear Cubs. His brother Pat has been skating with them for several years.

After hearing about the venture, The Norwood Board of Health shut down Danny’s ice cream stand after making $62 on day 1.

The stand was deemed against state code after someone issued a complaint to the town.

The community is looking to help raise the money anyway after the ice cream stand was shut down.

No man or woman is outside of the control of the system. Imagine if the employees of said system were not producing compliance through force. We would have chaos. Or would we? Americans will receive the controls that they will accept. Stop thinking about the welfare of the collective and realize it is the freedom of the individual that makes us the greatest nation ever realized.

Who would make such a complaint, another vendor? That aside, home made dairy products what a minefield of risk these folks unknowingly could have unleashed on themselves. Sometimes local health authorities get it right. Too bad some people have to make a political statement.
