Massachusetts and Rhode Island Violent Fugitive units arrest Fall River man on several charges
Rhode Island and Massachusetts authorities arrested a Fall River man recently.
According to Rhode Island State Police, on Friday, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested 47-year-old Stephen Evans on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating from the Middletown Police Department for the following:
Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I/II, Eluding in a High-Speed Pursuit, and Obstructing Police Officer in Execution of Duty.
Evans was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Massachusetts State Police on scene.
