The community is still processing a crash Tuesday that left 1 teen dead, and several others injured.
According to police, at just after 2:00 a.m., Mashpee Police and Fire responded to a single vehicle crash on Carlton Drive near Swain Circle.
Upon arrival, officers found a heavily damaged Toyota Rav4.

Police and Fire personnel discovered that there were 7 people in the vehicle between the ages of 15-17. They reside in Mashpee and Falmouth.
6 of the 7 were transported from the scene to area hospitals two with life threatening injuries. A 17-year-old from Mashpee, Nolan Barr, later died from those injuries.
Barr played on both the football and basketball teams for Mashpee High School and was set to graduated next year. He was described as one of the nicest kids you would want to meet with a good sense of humor and often had a smile on his face.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been created for the family.
According to an obituary, a visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 74 Algonquin Ave. (RTE 151), in Mashpee.
