Martin Luther King Day of Service Monday in Fall River
MLK Day of service has been scheduled for Monday in Fall River.
To celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, an MLK Day of service has been organized to empower and encourage youth to make a commitment to helping others.
The Mayor’s Youth Council, Keystone Club, youth leadership groups and volunteers will be completing a community service project of writing letters to service men and women serving overseas at the Fall River Boys & Girls Club on January 15th from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
In addition to the community service project, participants will discuss service projects their leadership groups already have organized as well as brainstorm and plan other community service projects.
Youth are encouraged to attend.
