Market, free music, food, and beer tasting to highlight final Spindle City Fest of 2019

FALL RIVER, MA — The Narrows Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that 2019’s final iteration of Spindle City Fest will be held on Saturday, November 30th from 10am to 3pm. This seasonal event showcases all that Fall River and its surrounding communities have to offer in the realms of art, entertainment, victuals, and creativity.

The festival’s artisan vendors will have a plethora of fine wares from pottery to jewelry to locally-sourced snacks. The Narrows artist community will have their studios open as well with works of art for purchase or viewing.

The Narrows will also be handing out a variety of free soups from Blount Fine Foods. Visitors will also be able to get a taste of Fall River’s favorite nano-brewed beer from Troy City Brewing.

Drums Alive is back by popular demand. The day’s festivities begin with an invigorating combination of music and exercise, courtesy of Pulse Mobile Music and Movement. Instructor Tracey Glynn will be guiding participants through Drums Alive, a cardio fitness class that provides a workout for all levels through the use of drumming and great music to motivate. Two 30-minute sessions will be held at 10:30am and 11am. Reservations are required and space is very limited.

Black Cadillac Trio, a local favorite, will be closing out the day’s festivities with a free concert. They’ll be serving up raw, stripped down music for the modern fan with roots in classic blues, rock and soul with a touch of country twang. The band’s mix of eclectic covers and original songs has been well received by reviewers, local venues, and music lovers alike.
