Marc Dennis, Jorge Ferreira to headline this year’s Day of Portugal Fall River
A festival that brings food, faith, and entertainment to the city will be returning once again.
Day of Portugal Fall River, which takes place every year at the Gates of the City down near the waterfront on Ponta Delgada Blvd. is back in 2023. The event was postponed in 2021 from its typical June slot to August due to COVID-19. It was canceled, along with just about every other event in 2020 because of the virus and restrictions.
One of the more popular events in Fall River which features Portuguese and American singing acts, along with food from area restaurants, and a kids fair, is scheduled to take place from June 8th to 11th this year.
The current confirmed entertainment includes:
Marc Dennis
Santa Maria
Jose Nazario
Myrica Faya
Gertrudes Labaca
Arlindo Andrade
Rodrigo Leal
Band Faith
Jorge Ferreira
Ana Malhoa
Vavo Brito
Ricardo Farias (Host)
More details will be released as the event date approaches.
