Man stabbed to death at Providence Place Mall
A fatal stabbing occurred this morning at Providence Place Mall.
According to WCVB, The man is 19-years-old and was stabbed inside the mall.
A fight reportedly broke out between two groups of people at the food court at about 11:35 a.m. which led to the stabbing.
The man, who is from Providence, was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A weapon was recovered and four people were placed into custody including the suspected assailant.
According to police, all involved are known within the department.
