A local man has lost his life after a serious crash this afternoon.

According to Massachusetts State Police, just before 3 p.m., Troopers assigned to State Police-Dartmouth responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on Route 195 Westbound at mile marker 2.2 in Seekonk. State Police responded along with the Seekonk Fire Department.

Upon their arrival they discovered a 2015 Nissan Sentra that had rolled over with the operator, identified as Matthew Beaudoin, 38, of New Bedford, suffering from serious injuries.
