At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Bridgewater Police and Bridgewater State University Police received reports of a motor vehicle crash near the university’s Moakley Center. Two victims, who are both college students, were found at the site of the incident and transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. The operator of the Chevrolet Spark involved in the crash, later identified as Mayle, was placed into custody before also being transported for medical treatment.

An alleged road rage incident took place prior with Mayle accused of being involved.
