Man dies after jumping from bridge in Massachusetts overnight, second jumper attempted to save the first
A man has died after jumping off of a bridge in Massachusetts Friday night.
Just before 11:40 p.m., multiple calls came in for a man in the water after jumping off of the North Washington Street Bridge in Boston.
Two men jumped from the bridge. One reportedly tried to save the other.
The dead body of the original jumper was recovered approximately 45 minutes after the jump.
The second jumper survived and was rescued by personnel.
The bridge was closed within minutes of the rescue operation.
