Man arrested in Rehoboth after posting evidence of his crime on social media
Today police arrested a man after he reportedly posted his crime on social media.
According to Sergeant Brian Ramos, Rehoboth Police arrested a 36-year-old man following an investigation into a recent break-in to the former Anawan School located at 53 Bay State Road in Rehoboth.
Ryan Bouffard, of Johnston RI is accused of breaking a rear window to gain entry into the vacant building. While inside the building Bouffard took numerous photos of the building’s interior which he later posted to a social media account using an alias.
The subsequent investigation led police to Bouffard who is being charged with Vandalism and Breaking and Entering.
Bouffard was later released on cash bail and will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Friday.
