MA Police warn drivers after Thursday morning distracted driving crash
Often when a crash occurs, many of the comments you see on social media resemble something to the effect of “Get off your phone! While cell phone usage isn’t the cause of every crash, Massachusetts State Police are warning drivers this morning about the risk that using cell phones while driving can cause.
This morning, this crash on Route 2 in Lincoln was caused by distracted driving according to State Trooper Dustin Fitch.
“Distracted Driving can have serious consequences. The driver will be ok, he did not hurt anyone else, but admitted to being on his phone when this happened this morning on Route 2 in Lincoln. Have a safe 4th!”
We echo those sentiments. Be safe this Fourth of July and every day. We want you to get home in one piece.
