MA Officials: 16-year-old Massachusetts teen killed in overnight single-car crash
Officials Wednesday have released the name of a teenaged victim that was killed in a crash overnight.
Stoughton Police and Massachusetts State Police, working with the Motor Vehicle Homicide/Major Crash unit of the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, are investigating a fatal crash overnight on Sumner Street near the intersection with Ryan Road.
While the DA stated that the investigation is in its very early stages, the scene involved a single car off the road, including impact with a guard rail. 16-year-old Ja’Zell (Jazell) Bentencourt of Stoughton, was declared dead at the scene.
The roadway is now fully reopened to traffic.
The crash is still under investigation.
