Live music, food, and entertainment spot opening within days near Fall River waterfront

A new restaurant and entertainment spot is set to open early next month at a well-known location in Fall River.

Primo on Water Street fully renovated the building at 36-56 Water Street along the city’s waterfront cultural corridor – which currently features a bartending school and catering company – by adding a full-service restaurant and bar.

Renovations included a new roof and windows, upgrades to the commercial kitchen, and the build-out of interior dining, educational, and bar spaces.

Shannon Raposo appeared in front of the Fall River Licensing Board representing Primo in January of 2023 receiving new All Alcohol Common Victuallers and Entertainment Licenses for the location.

According to Raposo, the business will serve a fusion of Italian and Portuguese cuisine including pizza, pasta and other quick serve options.

The company’s website states that hours of operation will be 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. with a soft opening on March 7th.

Primo has already started promoting a St. Paddy’s weekend bash with live music, food, and constant entertainment from March 15th to 17th.

The Water Street location was the home of Boneheads Live and Water Street Cafe. Boneheads Live closed about two years ago with talks of re-opening that never materialized.
