Lifeguards save juvenile at Horseneck Beach
Some were wondering what the commotion at Horseneck Beach was this morning. What they were witnessing was the aftermath of another rescue at the beach.
Emergency responders and Westport Police were seen at the beach before noon today.
According to police, a juvenile made a comment regarding committing suicide and ran into the ocean.
She was rescued by Horseneck Beach lifeguards and later transported to the hospital for evaluation.
