Leapin’ Leprechauns! It’s Leprechaun Hunt Time at the Library
That crafty leprechaun is back and he’s up to his old trick of hiding his treasure throughout the Fall River Public Library! Children are invited to join us for the annual “Storytime and Leprechaun Hunt”, Friday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street. The event is recommended for children ages 3 to 12 years of age.
Following a reading of the picture book, Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Curious George, children will be invited to search the library’s Fell Room for gold coins cleverly hidden by the Library Leprechaun. Children are invited to collect as many coins as they can find and tuck them away in their green paper treasure chest that will be handed out by staff at the start of the hunt. A special book prize will go to the child who uncovers the hiding place of the Library Leprechaun himself! A selection of library books celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, stories of leprechauns, Irish folktales and more will be available for circulation
