Jungleland movie returns to shooting in Fall River
To the happiness of many Fall River area fans, the Jungleland movie has returned to shooting in Fall River Wednesday morning.
After stints in Taunton and New Bedford, the movie crew is back in the city and has set up at Knight’s Quality Services Station on Linden Street.
Max WInkler (Flower, Ceremony) directs (and co-wrote) the drama starring Charlie Hunnam (“Sons Of Anarchy,” Lost City of Z, King Arthur), Jack O’Connell (Unbroken, ’71, Starred Up) and Jessica Barden (The Lobster, “The End of the F—ing World”). The original screenplay is by Winkler, Theodore B. Bressman and David Branson Smith. Brad Feinstein (Romulus Entertainment), Jules Daly (Big Red Films) and Kevin Walsh and Ryan Stowell (Scott Free Productions) are producing.
The plot of Jungleland revolves around a reluctant bareknuckle boxer (O’Connell) and his brother (Hunnam) travelling across the country for one last fight, but an unexpected travel companion (Barden) exposes the cracks in their bond along the way.
