Incident, coded as domestic, results in death in Fall River

Fall River Police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office and prosecutors are actively investigating a death, which occurred in The City of Fall River this morning.
Fall River Police responded to 911 calls this morning shortly after 9:35 a.m. regarding a severely injured female lying on an outside walkway at the Waterview Heights condominium complex located at 4700 North Main Street.
When first responders arrived on scene, they located the victim and rushed her to Rhode Island Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The victim is a 42-year-old woman, with a last known address in Taunton.
According to Fall River Police, the incident was coded a ‘domestic’ and at this time is still an open investigation.
It is currently unclear how the incident occurred.
