Immigration and Customs Enforcement has announced the arrest of a murder suspect.

According to ICE, on Wednesday, ICE Boston arrested John Lenon Sena Rosa, a foreign fugitive from Brazil wanted for murder.

Sena Rosa allegedly committed murder by stabbing the victim with a knife until the blade broke and striking the victim in the head with a piece of wood and a helmet.

Sena Rosa fled Brazil to avoid his criminal sentence, and entered the United States illegally in 2022.

Authorities in Brazil issued a criminal arrest warrant for Sena Rosa for murder on March 21, 2025.

Sena Rosa will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings
